Digos City teacher is the lone passer in the IAVM level III assessment

Nesylda Alpacion, of Digos City Central Elementary, became only the sixth Filipino to be awarded the Foundation Level: Distinction  by the Institute for the Advancement of Vedic Mathematics.

Ms. Alpacion, the District Math Coordinator of of Digos Occidental District, was the only one among the 34 who took part in the IAVM level III assessment administered locally by MATH-Inic Philippines scored better than the 80% passing mark.

She now joins Veronica Prudente, the first Foundation Level: Distinction achiever, and the second batch of Level III passers, Victoria Dimasin, Francisco Pelagio, Crisostomo Velasco and Christ Alexan Sy in this elite group.

Christ Alexan Sy, was still an elementary school student when he passed the Level III assessment. His Vedic Math coach then was Ms. Alpacion

All of them will be automatically accredited as coaches should they join National and International Vedic Mathematics competitions organized or coordinated by MATH-Inic Philippines.

Also receiving automatic accreditation as coaches are completers of the Vedic Mathematics Teacher Training course currently offered by Math2Shine.
