List of IAVM LEVEL II Assessment Passers (Sept. 24, 2023)
4 students and 15 teachers passed the Level II assessment of the Institute for the Advancement of Vedic Mathematics (IAVM) given online last September 24, 2023 through MATH-Inic Philippines.
Topping the list of successful examinees are Jan Lemuel Zapanta, a grade 4 student from Bo. Obrero Elementary School, Manila and Kirstel Joy Picar, an Electrical Engineering senior at the University of Mindanao (Main Campus) at Matina, Davao City. Other students in the top 10 are John Ruzzel Gibriel D. Riva, a Grade 9 student from the Agusan National High School in Butuan City and Benedict John Palma, an 8 grader from the Bixby Knolls Preparatory Academy of San Antonio, Quezon.
Earlier this month, Ms. Reginna Sagamla, a Math teacher from the La Union National High School was the lone Level II examinee who got a passing score.
They will all receive the Foundation Level: Proficient Certificate from the IAVM and are qualified to take the level III assessment to be conducted on Oct 1, 2023.
Level III passers will receive the Foundation Level: Distinction Certificate and teachers who have the certificate will automatically be recognized as coach in national and international Vedic Math competitions.
The IAVM designed the nine-level assessment system for enthusiasts to gauge their knowledge of Vedic Mathematics. So far, only 5 Filipinos have passed the Level III exams.
