Revised Schedule of Vedic Math activities in the Philippines

Last Sept 11, 2021, during the 1st International Vedic Math Olympiad, of the 474 participants from 9 countries, the Philippines won 35 Gold, 70 Silver and 107 Bronze awards which accounts for more than 75% of the total awards given.

To maintain our standing in the world Vedic Math community, MATH-Inic Philippines is scheduling numerous activities in preparation for the 2nd International Vedic Math Olympiad which is expected to be staged in Sept 2022.

We have also asked the Institute for the Advancement of Vedic Mathematics (IAVM) to schedule another round of accreditation assessments for their 5-level rating of VM practitioners after the 8th Online Vedic Math Conference on March 12 and 13, 2022.

Here are the scheduled activities:

March 12 and 13, 2022 – 8th Online Vedic Math Conference

March 27, 2022 – IAVM Assessment – Foundation Level Novice

April 3, 2022 – IAVM Assessment – Foundation Level Proficiency

April 24, 2022 – 2nd MATH-Inic Vedic Math National Challenge

June 5, 2022 – 3rd Philippine National Vedic Mathematics Olympiad

The IAVM 5-level assessment system is designed to gauge an individual’s knowledge of VM techniques. This is very helpful specially for teachers and mathletes participating in Vedic Math competitions. The 5 levels are:

I: Foundation Level -Novice

II: Foundation Level – Proficiency

III: Foundation Level – Distinction

IV: Intermediate Level

V: Advanced Level
