Schedule of IAVM Assessments
MATH-Inic Philippines has requested the Institute for the Advancement of Vedic Mathematics (IVMO) to allow it to conduct the assessments for teachers, students and other VM enthusiasts for Levels I to III this August and September on the following dates:
Level I – Foundation Level: Novice on Saturday, August 19 at 4PM;
Level II – Foundation Level: Proficiency on Saturday, Sept 2 at 4PM;
Level III – Foundation Level: Distinction on Saturday, Sept 23 at 4PM;
This is in preparation for the 4th Philippine National Vedic Mathematics Olympiad which will be held on October 9, 2023, and the 3rd International Vedic Mathematic Olympiad (IVMO 2023) which is scheduled on November 25, 2023.
Only those teachers who have completed the Vedic Mathematics Teacher Training Course or those who have passed the Level III IAVM assessment can be accredited as coaches in national and international VM competitions.
For students and other VM practitioners, the assessments serve as gauges of their knowledge of VM and may also serve as additional practice opportunities for the coming competions.
Level I is optional but passing the level II assessment is required before taking the Level III exam.
So far, only 4 teachers and 1 – grade 6 student (at the time of the test) have been awarded the Foundation Level: Distinction certificate by the IAVM.
Review sessions will be conducted by MATH-Inic Philippines for Level II and III on August 26 and September 16, 2023 respectively. Assessment fees and review fees for each level is set at P300 each.
